LOREN, SOPHIA - Signature on 8x10 B&W portrait   SOPHIA LOREN (b. 1934) - Signature on classic wet t-shirt portrait from Boy on a Dolphin. An illegimate child, Sophia Loren -- real name Sophia Villani Scicolone --  grew up in the slums of Pozzuoli, just outside Naples. As a little girl, she was so skinny, her playmates called her "The Stick." After insignificant parts in over a dozen Italian films, including Quo Vadis (1951), she met movie-director Carlo Ponti, some 22 years her senior, whom she later married.
