Breathtaking, original 27" x 41" linen mounted one-sheet for the 1939 Roy Rogers western, WALL STREET COWBOY. This was Roy's 9th starring movie and the only one to team him with two of the screen's best sidekicks -- George "Gabby" Hayes and Raymond Hatton. The future "King of the Cowboys" was already rated as number three on the Motion Picture Herald's poll of Top Ten Western Moneymakers. Roy was included in the poll every year from from 1938 until the last poll, in 1955. For twelve consecutive years, 1943-1954, he was rated number 1.
Unlike many of the Republic B-westerns at this time which were printed in dutone, rather than the more expensive four color printing. Happily, YOUNG BUFFALO BILL is an exception to the rule. A must-own original one-sheet for any Roy Rogers or B-western poster collection!!
CONDITION: Breathtaking FINE /VERY FINE condition with minor restoration in the centerfolds, edges and fold line touch-ups. Rich, vivid colors.
